On appeal, the defendant claims that the court improperly (1) confirmed the award in its entirety because the present proceeding is barred by a previous arbitration proceeding under the doctrines of collateral estoppel and res judicata, and (2) confirmed, as part of the award, the award of the plaintiff’s attorney’s fees and expenses for the previous arbitration.
