Effective January 27, 2017, the Federal Trade Commission has amended its Used Car Rule, 16 CFR Part 455. Here is the text of the Federal Register Notice, which states that "[t]he Used Car Rule requires dealers to display on used cars offered for sale a window sticker called a ‘Buyers Guide’ containing warranty and other information." Connecticut's Used Automobile Warranty law is found in Chapter 743f of the Connecticut statutes. Further, the Connecticut DMV has a web page titled Used Car Warranty that links to Chapter 743f and a "Dealers and Repairers Complaint Form."
