Designation of Judge to Act on Behalf of the Chief Court Administrator in Ordering Transfers of Land Use Appeals

In accordance with C.G.S. § 51-347b, I hereby designate, Presiding Judge of the Land Use Litigation Docket of the Superior Court (Hartford), to act until further notice on my behalf to order transfers of land use appeals. Such appeals may include planning and zoning, inland/wetlands/environmental enforcement and affordable housing appeals.

Any such transfer may be ordered from the Superior Court for one Judicial District to the Superior Court in another court location within the same Judicial District or to a Superior Court location for any other Judicial District. Any such transfer only shall be ordered when required for the efficient operation of the court and to ensure the prompt and proper administration of justice.
