From points north (Worcester, MA, Thompson, CT) take I-395 South:

• Take Exit 47 (Providence/Putnam)
• Take a right at the end of the ramp onto Route 44 west towards Putnam
• Continue on Route 44 west for approximately 3/4 mile to Route 171
• At the light, take a right onto Route 171
• Continue on Route 171 for approximately 1/2 mile and at the second light, take a left onto Church Street
• Continue on Church Street for approximately 1/4 mile
• The courthouse will be immediately on your left
• Parking is available on site behind the building and is accessible by taking the driveway to the left of the courthouse

From points south (New London) take I-395 North:

• Take Exit 45 (Kennedy Drive)
• Take a right onto Kennedy Drive towards Putnam
• Continue on Kennedy Drive approximately 1.5 miles to second light (Bridge Street)
• Take a left at the light onto Bridge Street
• Continue on Bridge Street over the river to the first stop sign (Church Street)
• Take a right onto Church Street
• The courthouse will be immediately on the right
• Parking is available on site behind the building and is accessible by continuing on Church Street and taking the driveway on the right just past the courthouse

From points west (Manchester, Hartford) take I-84 East:

• Take Exit 69 (Route 74 to Route 44/Willington)
• Take a right at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 74 east
• Continue on Route 74 east for approximately 7.5 miles to Route 44
• At the intersection with Route 44, take a left onto Route 44 east
• Continue on Route 44 east for approximately 17 miles entering the town of Putnam. Day Kimball Hospital will be on the right.
• Passing the hospital, continue on Route 44 east for approximately 1/2 mile and take a left onto Church Street
• Continue on Church Street for approximately 1/2 mile to first stop sign (Bridge Street)
• The courthouse will be on the right immediately after the Bridge Street intersection
• Parking is available on site behind the building and is accessible by continuing on Church Street and taking the driveway on the right just past the courthouse

From points east (Providence, RI) take State Route 44 West:

• Take State Route 44 West towards Putnam passing I-395 interchange
• Continue on Route 44 west past the I-395 interchange for approximately 3/4 mile to Route 171
• At the light, take a right onto Route 171
• Continue on Route 171 for approximately 1/2 mile and at the second light, take a left onto Church Street
• Continue on Church Street for approximately 1/4 mile
• The courthouse will be immediately on your left
• Parking is available on site behind the building and is accessible by taking the driveway to the left of the courthouse
