Step 1 Intern Submits Application Packet

Upon receipt of your application packet, the Coordinator reviews the packet for completeness and eligibility. All interns must also submit an Intern Verification Form completed by their school even if the intern is not seeking credits. The form is available by calling the Intern Office at (860) 282-6581 or by clicking the link below.

Step 2 Intern Interviews
The Coordinator schedules a time to meet with the eligible intern candidate to discuss areas of interest and an appropriate placement. Professional intern candidates are than scheduled for an interview with the potential placement site supervisor (workplace host).

Step 3 Intern Placement Established
Upon acceptance by the Workplace Host and the V/I Coordinator, a mandatory background check will be conducted prior to the internship start date.
