Standing Order
Docket Management Program
Effective September 1, 2006

If attorneys, law firms, or pro se parties require an exemption from the Docket Management Program, a Request for Exemption from Docket Management Program (DMP) Dismissal must be filed in accordance with the following:
 

 
  1. Attorneys, law firms, and pro se parties must use the appropriate Request for Exemption from Docket Management Program (DMP) Dismissal form. No other format will be considered.
  2. All Requests for Exemption from Docket Management Program (DMP) Dismissal must be filed between February 1 and March 23, 2007, inclusive. Requests received before or after these dates will not be considered.
  3. Pro se parties must file a Request for Exemption from Docket Management Program (DMP) Dismissal (JD-CL-71). The completed form must be hand-delivered, mailed, or faxed to the clerk’s office of the court where the action is pending.
  4. Attorneys and law firms must electronically file through E-Services Docket Management Program a Request for Exemption from Docket Management Program (DMP) Dismissal unless an exclusion from the electronic filing requirement has been granted.

a) Attorneys or law firms requesting an exclusion from the requirement of electronically filing through E-Services must obtain and file an Attorney Request for Exclusion from Electronic Filing of Request for Exemption from Docket Management Program Dismissal form. (JD-CL-87)

  1. The form to request the exclusion may be obtained by calling (866) 765-4452 or by downloading it from the General Forms section of the Judicial Branch website.
  2. The form must be completed and returned to the Court Operations Unit, Docket Management Coordinator, 225 Spring St., Wethersfield, CT 06109.
  3. All requests for exclusion from the electronic filing requirement must be submitted no later than January 12, 2007.
  4. Each Request for Exclusion will be reviewed and a notice of the decision on the request will be sent by the Docket Management Coordinator.
  5. If the request for exclusion is granted, a copy of the decision granting such exclusion must be attached to each Request for Exemption from Docket Management Program (DMP) Dismissal form (JD-CL-71) and submitted by the attorney or firm to the clerk’s office of the court where the action is pending.
