Standing Orders
Family Special
Masters Pretrials
Counsel and pro se
parties shall exchange the following documents at least (3) days prior
to a scheduled family special masters pretrial. These documents shall
be submitted to the special masters/family relations at the time of the
pretrial:

- Current sworn
financial affidavits, which shall include detailed income statements,
a complete list of liabilities, fair market value of all assets and
current value of all retirement and employment benefits.
- Written proposed
orders in accordance with Prac. Bk. § 25-30(c) and (d), which shall be
comprehensive and shall set forth the parties’ requested relief
including, where applicable, the following:
- a brief
outline for custody/access proposals;
- child support
- alimony
- medical and
life insurance
- property
division
- retirement
assignment
- counsel fees
- division of
liabilities
- Copies of tax
returns W-2 statements for the past three years;
- Written
verification of current income and liabilities;
- Appraisals of
real or personal property whose values are in dispute;
- Pension
valuations and recent pension statements;
- If there are
minor children, the parties shall prepare an executed child support
guidelines; worksheet indicating the presumptive amount of child
support and the percentages of child care and reimbursed medical
expenses.
Absent good cause shown, failure to comply with this Standing Order will
result in the imposition of sanctions (including Gen. Stat. § 51-84) at
the request of either party or sua sponte, as the court deems
appropriate.
