Notice Regarding Arguable Civil Short Calendar Matters
In an effort to provide
the Bench, the Bar and self-represented litigants with an efficient and
uniform procedure for short calendar matters, the current short calendar
process is revised. Effective February 28, 2009 the arguable and
non-arguable status of certain filings is changed to standardize court
staff coding and ensure uniformity with e-filed documents. This applies
to pleadings filed on or after February 28, 2009 and effective with the
calendars of March 16, 2009. Motions will be coded and appear as
arguable on the short calendar only if argument is permitted by the
Practice Book rules.
